A NEW book club for Omaha teen girls.

His light. Your life. Join me for a transformational book club as we discuss your identity in Christ and how you were created to shine uniquely to the world. Designed for girls ages 13-16, we'll meet once a month while we read through the book "Radiant," by Priscilla Shirer. Book club members will also have an opportunity to participate in an optional photo session, designed to showcase each girls’ unique light through the lens of Jill’s camera!

 FAQ’s

  • After completing two Camp Cherished groups, it sparked an idea to create a similar program for girls past their tween years and in their teens. In a search for another devotional book that was age appropriate, I read “Radiant” by Priscilla Shirer and thought it would be perfect. The format of the book lends itself nicely to a book club.

  • The book is broken into 4 parts:

Part One: Let There Be Light - you are divinely designed

Part Two: From Darkness to Light - as a follower of God, you are fully forgiven and free.

Part Three: Walk in the Light - your struggles, experiences or hardships do not fully define you. Your identity is in Christ.

Part Four: Light of the World - you are here, in this present time, for a unique purpose.

  • Radiant book club will be held monthly in the quiet, cozy setting of Jill’s west Omaha home. Our first meeting will be Sunday, June 30 at 7pm. We will continue to meet the last Sunday of the month for four sessions. Optional photo session date and time is TBD.

  • I love my job as a photographer - helping clients to see their true beauty and unique attributes through the lens of my camera. We also look at each girls’ unique beauty and purpose through the lens of our God as we discuss the book and what God has to say about them: that they are deeply loved, wonderfully created, a masterpiece made to do great things! By combining those two lenses, the book club will have an opportunity to participate in an optional photo session during our time together.
