Hi there! I'm Jill, a small town girl with deep Nebraska roots. Those roots mean I’m a hard worker, I’m honest and my integrity is one of the traits I value most about myself. I’m a wife and mother, and you’ll often find me cheering on my husband and son at their soccer games or my girls at dance and show choir (usually with my camera in hand!). It can get busy and exhausting, but parenthood is absolutely beautiful and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.  My passion for photography started with my own family: documenting their unique personalities, and those special family moments, both big and small, and having FUN along the way. Ultimately, it’s telling our story. Storytelling has always been a part of me - whether through dance when I was younger, to my former days as a journalist. My camera is my tool for telling stories beyond words.

This translates to capturing those same real moments for you through a unique and creative point of view.  It’s so much more than just snapping a picture. It’s capturing a feeling, an emotion, in harmony with light, environment and mood to freeze a moment in time to create precious, valuable artwork for you that you will treasure for years to come.  I truly believe that your portraits are heirlooms, and I approach every session with that thought in mind. I can’t wait to work with you to capture the beautiful, true essence of you!
