For Girls Like You
Ages 10-12
We'll cover a different topic over the course of 4 sessions from the devotional book "For Girls Like You!" She’ll also receive a keepsake beaded word bracelet and get to participate in a confidence-boosting photoshoot.
Camp dates are Monday's in July at Jill's home:
June 30, July 7, 14, 21 at 7 pm.
Additional date for camp photoshoot scheduled for Friday, July 11th (evening), combined with Radiant Book Club.
Spots are limited to 8 participants.
Radiant Book Club
Ages 13-15
Join me for a transformational book club as we discuss your identity in Christ and how you were created to shine uniquely to the world. We'll meet weekly while we read through the book "Radiant," by Priscilla Shirer. Book club members will also have an opportunity to participate in an optional photo session, designed to showcase each girls’ unique light through the lens of Jill’s camera!
Camp dates are Tuesday’s in July at Jill’s home:
July 1, July 8, July 15, 22 at 7 pm.
Additional date for optional photoshoot scheduled for Friday, July 11th (evening), combined with For Girls Like You.

My passion is to show my subjects how beautiful they are through the lens of my camera. Camp Cherished allows me to join that passion with sharing devotionals with tweens that they are amazing, chosen and uniquely made by Christ.

After completing three seasons of Camp Cherished, it sparked an idea to create an additional program for girls past their tween years and in their teens. In a search for another devotional book that was age appropriate, I read “Radiant” by Priscilla Shirer and thought it would be perfect. The format of the book lends itself nicely to a book club.

Topics vary from year to year, but can include: what God thinks about you, conflict resolution, true friendship, emotions, integrity and character, and getting to know God.

The book is broken into 4 parts:
Part One: Let There Be Light - you are divinely designed
Part Two: From Darkness to Light - as a follower of God, you are fully forgiven and free.
Part Three: Walk in the Light - your struggles, experiences or hardships do not fully define you. Your identity is in Christ.
Part Four: Light of the World - you are here, in this present time, for a unique purpose.

Camps are held in the summer in the quiet, cozy setting of Jill’s west Omaha home. Think of it like a weekly book club meeting!

We will celebrate our time together with a confidence boosting photoshoot! For Girls Like You participants will receive 5 adorable mini snapshots from the session, with the option to purchase more, including an exclusive Camp Cherished commemorative book or digital files! Radiant Book Club participants have an optional photoshoot, and will receive 1 digital file from their session, with the option to purchase additional artwork.
